Pele, the Brazil legendary player, was hospitalized again for treatment of colon cancer:
Pele had the procedure to get rid of a tumor in his colon in September. However, he remained in hospital for nearly one month.
Albert Einstein said the 81-year-old was expected to be discharged within the next few days after the treatment was ‘continued.’
Brazilian football legend Pele was admitted to the hospital in Sao Paulo to continue treating a cancerous colon.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Albert Einstein said that Pele has stabilized and is expected to be released in the coming days.
Three-time World Cup winner underwent surgery to remove a tumor in his colon in September. As a result, he spent almost one month in the hospital.
The hospital announced it was at that time he’d require chemotherapy.
According to the note received on Wednesday at the hospital, Pele has been “continuing” his treatment.
The legendary 81-year-old said on Twitter that the legend is “fine” and feeling better “every day.”
