Police arrest suspect accused of shooting at Texas school.
Police have taken a male of 18 years old into custody in connection to an incident at a Texas shooting at a high school.
As a result, authorities confirmed that it injured four students following a fight in a class on Wednesday morning.
He fled the scene, escaped the Timberview High School in Arlington following the shooting, was detained following an hour-long search.
He is accused of 3 counts of assault aggravated using an armed weapon that is deadly, police confirmed.
Police stated that two of the injured among them, one of whom was not hospitalized, were shot in the head. The victim is critical.
“What we believe happened, preliminarily, is that there was a fight between a student and another individual in a class and a gun was used, and there are four victims,” Said Arlington Assistant Police Chief Kevin Kolbye.

The incident was discovered at around 9:00 a.m. in the local time. It is located on the upper floor of the building, which led to a lockdown and a massive police intervention to secure the building before students being placed on buses and removed from the campus.
It was reported that the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives has confirmed that its agents are also present on the scene.
Timberview comprises Mansfield Independent School District, an extensive district located in the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan area, which includes 49 schools that serve over 35,000 students.
Kolbye reported that two police agents from Mansfield Police Department were involved. Mansfield Police Department was based in the school. They quickly were on the scene.
This year, there have been at least 101 incidents that involved firearms within U.S. school grounds.
It has resulted in the deaths of 21 and injuries to 56 as per Everytown for Gun Safety, the group that prevents gun violence.
The group has recorded at most one hundred and 96 incidents, which resulted in 43 injuries in 2020.
