President Droupadi Murmu presents the National Teacher Awards today

President Droupadi Murmu will give the National Awards to Teachers 2022 today, September 5, in honor of Teacher’s Day. Today, selected people from different parts of India will receive the National Teachers Awards.

Official statements from the Ministry of Education state that the National Teachers Awards 2022 event would start at 11 a.m. in Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

This time, 46 instructors will get recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the sector.

Additionally, according to sources, after President Murmu presents the awards, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with the National Teachers Awards awardees at his house.

The award winners were chosen for their noteworthy contributions and hailed from different institutions around the country.

According to the official circular from the Ministry of Education, each recipient of the National Teachers Award will also receive a silver medal, a certificate of merit, and a cash award of Rs. 50,000. Before the event, a complete list of teachers was assembled and made public.

This year marks the return of the National Awards to Teachers event, which was last presented in 2021. These awards are meant to commemorate and acknowledge the unique contributions made by some of the nation’s teachers.
