Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for the U.S. and NATO to take Russia’s demands for security assurances as seriously as is possible and respond in a specific manner directly.
In a phone conversation with his French colleague Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, Macron and Putin had an in-depth discussion about the latest developments in Ukraine and products in the long-term legal security guarantee in the Russian Federation. The two presidents deemed it necessary to accelerate the search for a solution diplomatically for the international ministers and political advisors to the heads of the Normandy model countries.
Kremlin also stated that these meetings would help restore the cease-fire and settle the conflict about Donbas.
