On Tuesday, Satish Poonia, the head of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Rajasthan, asked Governor Kalraj Mishra to look into the incidents of violence in Jodhpur and tell the government to keep law and order in the state.
“I humbly request you (Governor) that a fair investigation be done into the incidents and pass on the necessary instructions to the state government so that peace can be restored in the state and the communal incident doesn’t happen again,” Mr Poonia writes in Hindi.

He also asked the Governor to take stringent action against the person who did this.
In its letter, the BJP also said that the Congress government in Rajasthan, led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, does politics of appeasement, which has led to many people in the state being afraid of what will happen.
“In general, most people in the state are afraid because Congress’s politics of appeasement and the worsening law and order situation have made them afraid. Also, it has hurt the state’s reputation across the country, which has hurt the state’s business, “He said.
