Seattle Shooting killed one and six injured.
After several bullets were fired in the Renton, Washington suburb of Seattle, a 32-year-old man was officially declared deceased, and six other people were wounded, according to police.
In a news statement sent on Twitter, the Renton Police Department said that there was “not an active shooter scenario” in the suburb, which is located about 15 minutes outside of Seattle.
However, before one in the morning on Saturday, the police were contacted, and they had to “handle with a huge angry throng” in addition to the victims.
A 32-year-old Tacoma man was killed in the shooting; six other victims, who sustained varying degrees of gunshot wounds, are now receiving medical attention at nearby hospitals.
Initial evidence suggested a confrontation outside of a large gathering that may have included more than one suspect, according to police. However, no one has been arrested, and it hasn’t been possible to figure out what the disagreement was over.
According to the department, a number of agencies were requested to help because of the enormous crowd. The inquiry is still underway.
Renton Police are asking anybody with knowledge of the event to get in touch with them.
