Security Has Been Increased Ahead Of Prime Minister Modi's Tomorrow Visit To Jammu And Kashmir

Security has been tightened up ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir’s Palli on Sunday when he will meet with people.

In the next few days, the prime minister will speak to panchayats across the country on “Panchayati Raj Diwas.”

It’s called the National Panchayati Raj Day every year on April 24.

The Prime Minister will speak to a group of more than 30,000 members of the Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) in Jammu and Kashmir. PRI members across the country will be able to watch the Prime Minister’s speech online.

Samba is a district in Jammu and Kashmir. Palli panchayat is in this district.

The Constitution (73rd Amendment) Act, 1992, which came into effect on April 24, 1993, made the Panchayati Raj system official. This was a big step in the history of decentralization of power to the people.

In Jammu, Panchayat Palli has been chosen to host this year’s Panchayati Raj Diwas event. There will be an exhibition of the most recent innovations to help farmers, sarpanches, and village heads improve their income and produce.

Geospatial technology for rural development and farmers, apps that farmers can use to get five-day weather forecasts, lavender farming, biotechnology that can make apples grow more on the same land, drones that can spray pesticides and collect waste, and atomic radiation that can produce fruits last longer are some of the important innovations that will be shown.
