The Indian defense minister said Thursday that the 1971 war was the best example of a whole-of-government approach for the armed forces and the country’s safety.
At the PC Lal Memorial Lecture in Delhi, Rajnath Singh said that the 1971 war was a great example of a government-wide approach to the armed forces and national defense.

He went on to say that the ongoing process of integrating the Armed Forces is meant to improve both our combined strength and how well we work together as a team.
“It doesn’t always make sense to have more expensive weapons. The use of weapons gives us an advantage in wars, “he said more.
