Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, went to Ayodhya on Friday to see how many development projects were there. He also had a meal with a “Dalit” at his house.
Maniram, a member of the Dalit community, hosted Adityanath for dinner on his second trip to Ayodhya since becoming Uttar Pradesh’s second-term leader.
Maniram and his family live in the Dalit neighbourhood of Ayodhya, which is where Mr Adityanath went after he had his meal and talked to them.
He needs to make sure that everyone has a fair chance.
His office said that the CM was having “khichdi” with a BJD worker in Gorakhpur on Makar Sankranti when the crops started to grow.

When he looked at the development projects in Ayodhya worth about 19 million, he told the officials who showed him a presentation called “Ayodhya Vision 2047” to finish them on time and with good quality, a spokesman said.
The CM also told them to look at the Ayodhya vision and development projects every week at the district and divisional level and every 15 days at the government level to make sure everything is going well.
The CM said that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) on the three paths for devotees to the Ram temple in Ayodhya was completely “impractical.” He asked the Public Works Department and other officers to write a new DPR for the right path.
On April 1, Mr Adityanath went to see how things were going with preparations for the fair on Ram Navami.
The CM looked at work done on eight ‘kunds’ (ponds), how they were being restored, and how they were kept, used, and safe as part of Ayodhya Vision 2047.
It was also important for him to look at work done on the surface of some historical places in Ayodhya and work on murals and artwork to restore and preserve them.
There are also four ‘Samagra Vidyalayas’ coming up in the district, says the spokesman. He looked at other projects, too.
Mr Adityanath briefly met people from Ayodhya who had come to the circuit house. He asked them to help improve the city.
As part of his trip, the CM also prayed at the Hanuman Garhi temple and the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
