Haaland Scored Hat-trick Man City Win Against Nottingham Forest

Erling Haaland grabbed his second hat-trick in as many outings to help to surge Manchester City dominate newly promoted Nottingham Forest.

There were 26 seconds between his first and final goals this evening, in contrast to his 19-minute three-goal performance against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Haaland was replaced six minutes before the Palace game’s end, scoring an incredible six goals in an hour if the two games are combined. His season total now stands at nine goals.

Before Julian Alvarez, the attacking partner of Haaland took center stage, Joao Cancelo, who had just scored the fourth goal, finished Bernardo Silva’s excellent ball into the penalty box.

After being put up by Riyad Mahrez, the Argentine delivered a beautiful finish to defeat Dean Henderson in his full Premier League debut.

Then, when Mahrez’s effort was diverted into his path after Kevin de Bruyne stole the ball inside his half and raced 50 yards forward, Alvarez selected his place and finished high into the roof of the Forest goal.
