Sasa Kalajdzic, an Austrian striker, has officially signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers from Stuttgart.
The clubs agreed on a cost of 18 million euros (£15 million), plus add-ons, and the 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the option of a further 12 months.
The relocation is contingent on obtaining a work permit and a visa.
“I’m pretty grateful and delighted to be here. But, in the end, the club that wanted me the most was that, according to Kalajdzic, who has 15 international appearances.
I’m two meters tall, but I also have good footwork. So I said, I want to score goals.
“I want to play excellent soccer and score plenty of goals. But, then, I’d like to play attractive football. The essential thing is that I’m a team player and want to support the team.
“I look good when the squad looks well,” the player said.

For Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga in 2020–21, Kalajdzic scored 16 goals in 33 games while adding six more in 15 appearances.
He said, “It’s weird because I had some injuries that kept me from scoring more goals, but I believe I matured as a player and person during my time in Germany.
Scott Sellars, the technical director at Wolves, said: “We are delighted to secure the signing of Sasa.
He is a gifted young striker with several good game-related qualities and matches the description of the person we have been hunting for this summer.
“Sasa has had tremendous success in the German Bundesliga, and we are eager to see what he can do in the Premier League.”
