As long as the animation cycle was just a rough sketch, it still managed to capture the majestic movement of the bird-like creature. During the video, an artist made the Pokemon’s large wings move to look as if they were flapping in the wind.

Also, ling1ing shared a lot of information about how they made the Articuno sketch come to life.
An animation software called Toon Boom uses to make the Pokemon move close to how they would move in the game. In addition, the artist said that the whole video had 26 frames. As a result, they found that 13 separate drawings needed to finish the animation cycle.

There were more than 12.6K upvotes in less than a day for the design of the bird-like Pokemon. There were a lot of compliments about how realistic the animation was, but not everyone agreed.
